View Full Version : A Man Should Have . . . (Our Turn)

If Men Ruled The World . . .

Breaking up would be a lot easier. A smack to the ass and a "Nice hustle, you'll get'em next time" would pretty much do it.

Birth control would come in ale or lager.

Valentine's Day would be moved to February 29th so it would only occur in leap years.

Regis and Kathie Lee would be chained to a cement mixer and pushed off the Golden Gate Bridge for the most lucrative pay-per-view event in world history.

The only show opposite "Monday Night Football" would be "Monday Night Football from a Different Camera Angle".

Instead of "beer-belly", you'd get "beer-biceps".

People would never talk about how fresh they felt.

Telephones would cut off after 30 seconds of conversation.

It would be perfectly legal to steal a sports car, as long as you returned it the following day with a full tank of gas.

When your girlfriend really needed to talk to you during the game, she'd appear in a little box in the corner of the screen during a time-out.

Nodding and looking at your watch would be deemed as an acceptable response to "I love you".

The funniest guy in the office would get to be CEO.

"Sorry I'm late, but I got wasted last night", would be an acceptable excuse for tardiness.

Lifeguards could remove citizens from beaches for violating the "public ugliness" ordinance.

Hallmark would make "Sorry, what was your name again?" cards.

I must have been a man in a former life, because I agree with this one.

Kathy Lee. And the thing that I was going to write was just too horrible to put up here, so I cancelled it and wrote this instead.

Don't you mean Kelly Ripa now, who replaced Kathie Lee Gifford a few years ago?

That's great, Vince! I'm definitely "one of the guys"(sans testosterone).
I think all of those morning talk show hosts/hostesses should be chucked from a lofty place, as they're serious bores. (Thank goodness I'm only subject to this when I visit my mom in San Francisco).

Pacion, I was in the UK last week and saw a hilarious late-night show called "Euro-trash". Boy, was that a hoot! (Liked the panda commercials for that food sauce as well!). Too bad we don't get that over here in Japan.

Hope you had time to salsa.

Panda commercials for food sauce? I don't think I've seen them... Got to check.
One of my favourite TV adverts is the Kit-Kat commercial with a photographer and dancing pandas. :D

Too bad we don't get that over here in Japan.
There is a TV programme in the UK that shows scenes weird and wonderful foreign TV shows and commercials, and Japanese programmes make regular appearances.

Didn't have time to salsa as I was with my 69-year-old mum, but we did have time to dine at two Michelin 3-star restaurants, see 3 musicals, visit Leeds Castle, see two fabulous art shows, visit 6 markets and go to 6 museums. Didn't miss dancing one bit!

There were 3 different versions of the panda commercial, my favorite being when a panda sneaks into a guy's house & steals his plate of food(guy hollers "Frippin' panda!"). Panda goes out to the park to meet up with a female panda, who is chewing on bamboo grass. "You can call me 'Norman'. What's YOUR name?"(female keeps chewing, saying nothing) "Oh, playin' 'ard to get. I LIKE it, ya little minx!"
HILARIOUS!
