Okay, with previous dance experience I know all about adjusting to followers. But I'm having greater difficulties in AT. If a follower is quite a bit taller then me I find it hard to be in closed position...and as I'm about 5'3"? I think it happens quite a bit. To compensate I use a more open position. I know that I could take larger steps, but there's a limit to that. And then they wear high heels!!
So is this what you do? Or do you have any other suggestions?
(I started to realize these sort of issues as I have become more comfortable with AT. Practice really makes a difference. I've already showed one really confused follow how to do turns by just following. And follows in my class comment on it as well. :) )
