Surely everyone else here gets it?

You know when every second thought is consumed by needing to feel the glide of a polished wooden floor under your feet.....

When you hear a song and your feet unconsciously start tapping out the rhythm........

When you have to ask the DJ at the bowling alley what remix of the song he is playing because it has a fantastic Cha Cha beat...

You put your dance shoes on because you miss the feel of them on your feet...

You wonder what everyone at your studio is doing..are they there dancing now??

You start counting the sleeps until you can dance again.....

Chanting "2, 3 , 4 and 1!" while walking becomes a normal part of your day......

Spending half an hour in front of the mirror studying what you arms and fingers look like seems perfectly normal.......

Practicing Rumba and Tango walks in up and down your hallway, doesnt even generate a reaction from your family anymore....

It's worth rewatching the original of "Shall We Dance" just for the right-on handling of issues like the inability to avoid sneaking in a little practice at the slightest opportunity.

How about when I put my dance shoes on to do a bit of practice and my dog immediately hides under the dining room table so he is out of the way!! 8)

Can't say I do this, but I do tend to forget 4 and 8 when counting (spot a salsa dancer!).

But I've noticed that shimmying while listening to salsa songs on your personal CD player on buses and trains seem to draw certain looks...

Love those scenes! I watched it before I took up salsa, and when I found myself pivoting on the ball of foot to turn and walk into a room, the restroom scene immediately came to my mind.
