Help With Toe Rings And Anklets

I've noticed that toe rings and anklets are popular right now. So, yesterday I bought a set - Liz Clairborne, with red, blue and green beads. Now that I've got it home, I'm wondering what to do with them. Which ankle does the anklet go on? And, which toe does the toe ring go on? Or does it matter?

I used to wear my toe ring on the second toe of my right foot. I wore the anklet on the left ankle so that both were adorned with jewellery! :D

Middle of winter here so a waste of time wearing them now under my boots and socks.
