Some of us has daily jobs........ i work in the computer field. I guess you are lucky and can afford to only dance

Work part time + spend time with my kids (in fact, it's *killing* me to be working today when all of my friends and their kids are at the beach!!! Ugh!)

When I'm not dancing, the non-dance related things I do are

* hang out with my non-dancing husband

* study Chinese

Other than that, it's dancing or dance-related. My job is dance-related too :-)

It's all in the mind my friends. The power of the mind!! You can make everything dance related if you wish, such as hang out with non-dancing friends so you can go out dancing knowing that you haven't neglected them.

I practice at home.
I meet up with my dancing friends, and while we try to get off subject, we always end up talking about dancing.
I meet up with my non dancing friends and share my dancing experiences with them, though I try to stop before I get the :roll: .
I shop for material for costumes.
I'm learning to sew so that I can make my own costumes.

I must say I am one of the lucky ones. I've really spent the last two years just dancing, with a little bit of work and a whole lot of posting on DF since I joined 8) !

Now, I'm studying Spanish (so I can go to Cuba, PR etc and learn more about salsa) & a certificate to qualify for coaching (may well be dance related).

Or IM my dance friends, hanging with my family/dog.

Otherwise I'm shopping, eating, cooking, reading or watching CSI/Law & Order :wink: !

besides work.. which is in portfolio investments management.. i read, write poems, watch movies, try to convince attractive women to let me give'm an innocent massage and let things go from there.. and i'm looking fwd to start working out again..
