Don't the arches and heels of your feet sweat too?

I used something similar I bought at a comp for a pair of court shoes which got a little stretched and wasn't fitting as snugly as it used to. It didn't do anything for sweating or smell. I guess this person must have put some anti-bacterial stuff in their inserts. She wants triple of what I paid for a pair of inserts at a comp, btw.

The review I read on them over at Corporette, apparently they've got silver in them, which is antimicrobial, and they're thin enough that they don't affect your shoe size (won't make shoes that fit too tight, won't make shoes that are too loose fit.) They gave it rave reviews.
