Someone out there should be interested in this!
It's all about Los Angeles in the 50s. The Collins Kids are pretty interesting, I think!
Their first record was Beetle-Bug-Bop (but this isn't it, just how I got there - Bop you know, the dance).
Use this as and entry into this by gone, pretty much fogotten glimpse of an LA that most folks never knew existed.

The Encylopedia of Country Music states that Town Hall Ballroom had room for 3,000 dancers, allowing fans to crowd around the bandstand. No seating as most other (web based) references state. Might make sense because it was called the Lighthouse Ballroom before Town Hall started there, and how many ballrooms have seating?
Probably should call Marylin.
