Salsa Turbo Songs

I personally like fast salsa music to dance to such as "Salsa Con Coco". So i wanted to know other good songs like that. Any suggestions???????? :?:

I personally don't like turbo salsa, but if I have to turbo salsa a couple of songs I like are
"Batman Y Spiderman"
"Arranca en fa"
"Yo Soy La salsa"

Welcome Qubanita. I also don't like turbo songs. Mid-tempo songs are the ones that I enjoy. Does the CD "Heavy Salsa" by Sonora Carrusseles...(sp) have some fast songs? :? I remember way back when, when I was starting out, that I found them fast.

Welcome Qubanita! Yes, alot of Sonora Carruseles will work. Fruko y Sus Tesos as well. You can also pick up alot of the SalsaHits 2000, 2001, etc. and mostly fast Salsa is on it because that's what is popular now. :D

I am not particularly crazy about turbo salsa either, but try Sonora, as the guys already suggested... also the Mambo of Tito Puente is fast "El rey del timbal" and "Mambo diablo" for example

It's kind of funny to note that we all state we don't like turbo salsa and then we all recommend pretty much the same songs.
Listening to salsa con coco, I would recommend alot of old mambo and or latin jazz. You would probably like that. specific songs...

If you can dance through those songs without stopping, without falling down on your partner out of exhaustion, and still hitting all the breaks on the last one (wich is basicaly the crazyest song I know), you are much more fit then you thought you were ;)


P.S.
I know merecumbe and ma ma guela are not as fast as the others, and by themselves probably do not qualify as "turbo salsa", but I don't know why, I just fitted them there when I decided what orders to put the tracks in for that evening, and it turns out it fits perfectly in the general color those songs create when played in this particular patern.
