Salsascene Dominican Republic

Hi everybody,

I'm going to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from 24th of July till 11th of August. 8) :lol: I'm staying at the Iberostar resort. I was wondering if anyone knew some salsa hotspots in Punta Cana. I know that the Dominican Republic is known for its salsa (especially merengue and bachata) but I wanted to know something more about clubs or disco's. I hope someone can help me. I have already searched on the internet but couldn't find anything useful.

I have no idea about clubs, but it's tight that you're going there. I know someone who went there for the peace corps, she said they didn't do any salsa, just bachata and merengue. But good luck!
