And even though I've been a Star Trek fan since the airing of the very first episode, no, I do not have a thing for green-skinned women.

Listening to classic swing on the radio, I have a growing appreciation for Nodak Peggy Lee's earlier work.

At one point our younger son's room was an impossible mess with the floor completely covered by a foot-thick layer of stuff (clothes, paper, etc, but no rotting garbage at least), which made it really fun when his snake got loose and we had to sift through all that stuff to find the snake without stepping on it (it was in the closet coiled up in one of his shoes).

Finally one day, I found a biohazard graphic on the Web which I printed out in color and posted on his bedroom door. I meant it to shame him into cleaning his room, but instead he was very proud of that sign.

In another case, we used on him the new phrase "What part of 'no' don't you understand?" Well, he started explaining to us in detail what part of 'no' he didn't understand.

So, yeah, I think his boys would love it.

Actually HER boys do love it. LOL DWISE1 - my oldest son has a red biohazard sign on his bedroom door. My second son has yellow crime scene tape in a large X on his.

I never had any brothers or male cousins so boys were a major shock to my girly system. However, now that they are nearly growed up and we are all into the same geeky games (RPG's) and movies with either lots of sword fights or major stuff that goes boom all is well.

My youngest son (just 16) while watching LoTR - TT for the ninty-ninth time last night said one of those things that makes girls roll their eyes and moan about testosterone poisoning. He said - "Why on earth would anyone invent a gun when fighting with swords is just so much cooler?"

How do you pronounce Paducah? (Just curious. I'd never heard of it, but I used to call someone Paducah for a pet name, I think. :roll: ... depending on the pronunciation, of course.)

I've always said "puh-Du-kuh", or, more properly pah-dew-kah. I thought the town's name was really original- "Chief Paduke of the something Indians" was buried in a train depot parking lot... but there's a paducah in TX and several other places.
