In the US or in the world. Any recommendations? btw do you have any idea how long it took me to realize what a honky tonk is? Just a country dance hall -- at least that's the definition people these days seems to be using. My grandma used to have a totally different idea - not for family consumption. LOL.

And, while we're at it, what makes a good honky-tonk? Good DJ? Good band? Good friends? Thoughts?

The atmosphere . . . the lack of tidiness . . . the whiskey and beer . . . the band . . . any size women in ultra-tight Wranglers  - Thoughts, you ask??? - totally impure . . . friends . . . and then the enemies and ultra-great fist fights!

Anyone want to add to the "greatness" of honky tonks??? Wh has been to a really good one??? Why was it so good?
