Me, too! We don't have personal checks in Japan and most places, and my travel agent and concert ticket center don't even accept credit cards!
Oh, you guys would get a kick out of the monetary system in this country- it's truly Edo era! I've been at banks, doing a simple depoit at the counter, and a guy comes up with a HUGE SATCHEL, open it, and there is like TWO MILLION BUCKS there(in yen, of course!)!!! Let me tell you how tempted I've been at times... :bandit:
