Hi, this is my first post here :)
I was googling trying to find some answers but no luck so far. Coming to this forum i found some topics but I don't quite understand some things as englis is not my frist language :). So I will ask. Hope you ppl will be helpfull..

As I undersdand right there are few versions of salsa dance? I don't see what is the difference. The way I am learning salsa, I count basic step 1-2-3-tep. Is there any differenice in music, or just the whay it is danced?

I am trying to make some mic CD but I actually have trouble in samba rhythm. I find the music for mambo and samba the same :), just that samba is a bit faster. I am not sure how to recognise if there is a difference?

Can you name some samba music )that are more or less easy to find over p2p networks)?

Hi Blaze and welcome to DF! You mentioned that english is not your first language? Where are you posting from?

Are you looking for a specific salsa response or a "ballroom" salsa response?

How long have you been dancing for? How long have you been dancing salsa for?

You can salsa to both Baila Me and Bamboleo. You can also lambada to it

Croatia

That would be 'ballroom' i think......

How long have you been dancing for? How long have you been dancing salsa for?"

I'm dancing for 2 years, not all the time. Since this year I'm more into it and soon, in like 2 months, I should go to my first competition. Salsa and mambo are like 'btw' dances :). I am dancing more cha-cha, jive, rumba, samba, standard dances too.

If you're looking for samba music, a great resource is: http://www.dancesportmusic.com/samba.html.

It gives a list a songs, plus each song's tempo and a short description on how difficult the music is to dance.

Also, the the main site also has music pages for most of the common ballroom dances.
