What do you do to prepare yourself mentally for a big performance?

I'll start...
1) I try to see a mental picture of myself doing well.
2) I think about the emotions and feeling the observing will perceive when I dance (ex. Ballroom Tango: strength, passion, denial)
3) I think about the emotions (and thoughts) I want to have (slightly different than #2): Total concentration on the right thing at the right time, passion, posture
4) I say to myself over and over: Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes! as I raise my fist

(I probably exagerated a little, but this is part of what I do to make sure I am in the righ mind set)

Doing my hair and make-up is usually the first step for me. It gives me something to focus on so it kind- of clears my mind. Then i just practice and mentally review the routines. I dont think about anything else at all until after Im done dancing.
