Hello, everybody!
I know it's a little blunt to make an entrance as loud as openning a new topic before I post anything in the other ones, but I give you all my honest word that I'll catch up on all of them :)

So here we go: I haven't really explored the site very thoroughly yet, but I am too much aflame now because I found this forum!
Annnnd so I'm opening this topic as I think it will be much easier for everyone to get to know each other and remember who is who if there's a photo or picture that personifies him/her.

Tomorrow night my tango club's going to perform at the Global Fest here in town, and I'll take some photos. Unfortunatelly, I don't get to be in the show simply because there are not enough guys -- I guess that sounds painfully familiar to all the girls on here? I'll go to watch the show though, even if it's going to be practically rubbing salt into my wounds. :(
Anyways, to stick back to topic, how, after all, does one post a photo in a reply? I'm tired of thinking of other ways, especially knowing that there's something more convenient. :roll:

Yep, that's exactly what I mean. Like how you posted your photo. I just need the directions. Never had the time to figure it out.. :P

My club here isn't really all that fascinating any more to be honest. They are great guys, but there are way too many new people who have no clue about tango - as far as emotions and depth are concerned; they (the guys that is) just try to learn the steps and they never get to actually feel the music and the meaning behind it. It's a little frustrating after a while. When I started (January this year) there were two or three guys who were like kings of the dance - it was breath-taking to watch them. They were the perfect personification of compadres. But then, they sort of drew away - perhaps because of the new people who came in..

weeeeeeell,
you go to the site where your photo is and bring up the exact photo. right click with your mouse with the arrow over the picture you want to use. go down to the bottom of the menu where it says "properties" and click it. there should be a link (ie: http :// yourphotoishere. com).highlight that link by right clicking and dragging it over the whole text of the link. next come in here where you want to post it and click the button right below the "subject bar" that says "Img". this will place this...[img] in the message body. now right click (right after the [img]) and click "paste". that's it!

mine also did that in another thread. I think certain sites only let the picture be viewable for a certain amount of time (I think it has something to do with bandwidth or something).

I did them as a favor for a photographer friend who had never photographed a Black person before - so we did all sorts of cool stuff with different lightings and exposures-- just to see how my skin tones would turn out. The thing is, to do that, you have to show a fair amount of skin! :shock: :lol:

Thanks!! You should see my plaid suit. I had it made using the McLeod of Lewis dress tartan. That particular tartan is more commonly referred to as 'Loud McLeod". It's bright yellow with black and red stripes runnning through it.
