Now that I have my copy, I can share this info. A couple of months ago, my dance coach lent me his book, "Dance Workshop -- A Guide to the Fundamentals of Movement" by Robert Cohan. What a great book.
Lots of stretching exercises, and exercises to develop basic dance movement. Stuff like finding your center, understanding balance, stretching and a lot more.
This is great stuff for people like me, who need to UNDERSTAND the dance, not just feel it. Feelers, don't worry about it. Thinker/feelers, check out this book. The problem is that it's going out of print as we speak, so check it out soon.
