Can someone tell me the difference between two step and jive music? I seem to have problem with it. Whenever they play a two step at the studio, I always think of it as Jive.....

If you mean Nightclub Two-Step, the music for it tends to be cloyingly soft pop, around 64-80 BPM. If you mean Country Two-Step, the music for it tends to be (unsurprisingly) contemporary country pop around 180-190 BPM, with distinctive guitar elements as well as the fake "twang" in the vocals and the usually depressing country themes to the lyrics.
Jive music is generally traditional rock-and-roll at around 160-172 BPM. So there might be a little overlap with Country 2S tempowise, but the musical styles are otherwise very far apart.
There are some other Two-Steps out there but they're generally speaking older and much rarer dances.
