Also, how about "The Lady in Red" for nightclub two step? I know a guy who does a killer NC2S routine to that song. Gorgeous.

You both mentioned NC2S . . . I'd like to get DanceMentor to list it under one of the dance forum . . . I say the Swing Forum since it is done a bunch around here in the Swing events, venues, dances, etc.

I consider it Swing Slow Dancing!

I think that's a great idea. NC2S is a dance whose time has come. It's getting more and more popular around here, especially in country bars. And I like it, because it replaces the old "grab and grope" that a lot of guys like to do to slow songs. Under swing is as good a place as any. I do think they're related.

I was also thinking that it might be nice to set up a place where performers/competitors could exchange experiences or ideas. It looks like these forums have four basic groups of people (1) serious, but social dancers (2)competitors and performers (3) scholars/researchers and (4)teachers . Sometimes they overlap;sometimes they don't. What do you think, Vince?

Sounds great to me! How about a pre-group . . .before #1 . . . those that do not dance/beginners/newcomer . . . somewhere along these lines???

Swing is where I think it should go . . . I always dance the NC2S at Swing events. Maybe a thought or two from d nice???

I believe they (DanceMentor and SDsalsaguy) are discussing an idea based an exchange of experiences, etc, which would include performers, judges, etc.
