Cha . . . no, but Lady Marmalade makes a heck of a WCS song . . . numerous breaks, crescendos, slow parts, parts that will allow you to "wind" up your partner into mega spins . . . etc.

I can hear the Cha in it though!!!!!

I'll have to try WCS, Vince. The 4 and 1 always made me feel cha first. But what the heck. Why not? 8)

Don't do a regular "swing" WCS . . . do the "get down in the knees, open up, and get funky" WCS, or just play to it, and forget about the counts . . .
let your body do what the song is telling you to do!

Not sure if I'm familar with Je le taxi, but I have danced Cha-Cha to Lady Marmalade and agree that it's a good song for Cha-Cha.

There's been a prior discussion about In These Shoes by Kristy MaColl. Now that's also a great Cha-Cha; that's a song that ought to be in everyone's Cha-Cha song collection. 8)
