Hmm...I guess it would be the constant nagging ich to logon and see if any new posts have been added....even if it's only been an hour or two since my last visit.
This place is SOOOOO addictive! :D

An hour or two??? Hell, if I'm even in the same room as my computer I feel like I need to check every 5 minutes! Its the first thing I do when I wake up, the last thing I do before I leave the house, the first thing I do when I walk back in the door, and the last thing I do before I go to bed!

I'm with SD. If I'm in the house, then the computer is on. If it's on, then I'm checking the forums every few minutes, just to see who's on, or if there are any new posts. Yesterday (Sunday) was kind of disappointing. I guess everybody else had a life, but I didn't. Not much posted. :(

Oh my goodness. The local area network I have set up in my house went down last night (right in the middle of my composing a long and complicated post  )
And you know what I thought? I thought oh no! I'm going to miss all the cool stuff happening in the forums! It never occurred to me that there might be something wrong with my computers or printers. I just wanted to get back in the forums.

Any why would I want to cut back to ten times a day, when there's so much information, silliness, and high drama in the forums? Hmm?
And yes, I do dance. That's the only thing that always comes ahead of forum-watching.

That's it! Sign me up for the twelve-step program. It's a perfectly nice Saturday afternoon, and I'm in the house staring at my computer screen. Enough is enough. Isn't step one something like admitting you have a problem, or seeking help from a higher power, or something? Help me out here, folks.

Seriously though, I can hardly put HP down!!! I finished the first book in less than a week and am nearly through the second. At work, we've been divided into groups to decorate a specific space for Halloween...I'm pretty much the leader, creative person in our group...and guess what our theme is...a LOT of wizardy. Ahh...I'm just hopeless I guess.

Okay so I went through DF rehab (wedding planning, moving, etc.) and hand't checked the Forums in probably six or seven months.
Then in a moment of weakness I logged in to see what was new...and now I'm entirely addicted all over again... I'm so addicted I have joined the non-partner dance forum and become a moderator of several boards.
My goal to be a dance educator (even if it is only online) has begun! :D

Yep. I recently started a dance group at my place of an employment (a two-year college). The group is only for employees right now and we kind of bounce around between various dance styles. We had someone else come in to teach a little hula, and a sample Nia session. Lately, though, I've been teaching line dancing. It's a slow starting group...only one to two attendees each week.
It sounds like a group of students want to start a student dance club next year to perform at various campus events and intermural sports. The cool thing is, if it goes through, they've already asked me to be the club advisor! :rocker:

Here's how hooked I am... We were ousted from our apt. last week while they worked on our bathroom. We were at a hotel from Tuesday through Friday - No DF!!! ACK!!!! To make the torture worse, Wed. night was the first episode of DWTS, and I SO wanted to talk about it with other dancers!! But nooooooo, there I was, laughing and commenting to myself, while the boyfriend and the cats were ignoring me!

You know you're addicted to DF when you are at a dance camp, you're absolutely exhausted, you have a chance to take a nap, and instead you use the time to check for new posts on DF ... At least I restrained myself from writing anything, so I managed to sleep a little most afternoons, which enabled me to enjoy the parties until at least midnight every night. I was astonished at the number of people my age who lasted until the wee (or not so wee) hours of the morning and still showed up in class. Of course most of them were there more to socialize than to learn much new, but I'm a relative newbie so it was important to me to be functional in class ;).
I'm actually back home now, but getting ready for another camp before returning to work.
Edited to add: This is my post number 395. I'm going to try to keep track for a while ... I think my status changes from Bourgeois at number 400 ....
Well I am not that bad, but I check as often as I can. I dont ahve time to do it at work and as I am out most nights of thewek I can only doing for a fuew hours about twice a week. but I want my post counts t0 rise to Demi God level, I on ly have a few years to go!
