Hey folks. I tried ebay, but didn't see much suitable stuff up for bid right now.

I'm looking for two costumes at reasonable prices. New or used is fine. I want (1)an American style smooth ballgown with simple lines. Not too many boas, and stuff. (2) a two piece Latin costume. Both American size 6 (British 8, I think?) Bright colors work best for me, but no yellows.

Any idea of websites or other places I can look? I can rent, as a last resort, but I'd rather buy outright.

Thanks.

Jenn

If you call the Dance Dresser (http://www.dancedresser.net/), they offer consignment dresses as well as used dresses. Their contact info can be found on their website...but you have to call to find out about the dresses.

Thanks for the suggestion, DM. I'll give them a call. They do have a very nice selection of practice wear. I just never tried their competition wear before. I better not take any credit cards, though. Every time I go there, I come back with a couple new pairs of shoes!

Wow! Thanks. Your website is fantastic, and the prices are great. I've already selected a couple things for my Novemebr comp, but I'll be in touch soon, since I have another comp coming up this winter. Wow. Your stuff is beautiful. Thanks. :D
