to be told you dance well. It is better than being told you are cute or whatever. I love it when I perform well and entertain someone.
Last night at ballroom a lady told me that she loved to watch me dance. She said that I was elegant and obviously passionate about what I do.
I would say that being told you do something well is the best feeling in the world. Especially when you have put the time and practice into learning something new.
What makes you feel good (and be GOOD)? ;)

A lady told me she loved my movement the other night, and it felt nice. I didn't take it too highly, though, as she's not dancing and was probably comparing me to non-dancing folks.

Mostly I cherish when little girls come up and tell me they love my dancing. At competition little girls (for whatever reason) usually come up and want to say nice things. Those little things are far mose cherished than any judges high marks.
(one time I was wearing a Pink Ballgown and some little girl dragged her mother over to me and said... "See I told you Barbie was dancing. I love you Barbie")

That's really sweet. I used to be really into figure skating for quite a while. I took lessons and practiced at the rink almost every week. I went skating a couple months ago and was surprised to see that I havn't lost my touch. 8) Well, I was wearing a short, dark blue skort with a white sweater and a little girl came up to me and told me that I looked really pretty and she thought a skated very well. :D :D
Also, at a group class a few weeks ago, a lady who's been dancing for longer than I have told me that she's never been envious of anyone in her lifetime... except me. She said I move so gracefully and beautifully. :D
