Not ecuador, but the midwest actually. Any good salsa teachers in ohio, indiana, kentucky, etc...? How about places to dance?

I almost didn't open your thread....
I'm in Indianapolis, and we have a thriving salsa community - a couple of studios and a good club scene. I can give you info about us, but I don't know of anything in Kentucky or Ohio, although I am sure you could find lessons fairly easily. Feel free to ask me anything, but you can also check out

Paducah, KY has Ruth Johnson School of Dance, and I think one or two others, that's about all I know. I think they're more ballroom than salsa though. I don't get out much.

Thanks for the info!
Hey BE have you been to the blue cactus? Do they have a good scene there?

yes, I have... yes, they do. I haven't been for a while (on Saturday evenings), but I believe the scene is getting bigger. They just doubled the dance floor! I often go for our Social's on Sunday afternoons.
Why do you ask?

We try to get up there at least every other week to get our dance lessons in. The weeks in between we go to columbus, oh. The only place i've been out dancin there was at Indy Ballroom Co.
