Leading questions: (Objection, your honour!)
I've recently come to grief trying to lead quickstep in a social setting...
I'm having particular trouble leading a fishtail
I've tried the following precedes:
Back lock and running finish
tipple chasses
V6
just after a basic lockstep
no luck whatsoever...
and 4-quick-run / 6-quick-run is another step i'm having difficulty leading...
with ladies i dance with regularly, it's not so bad... so i'm wonder is it just inherent to quickstep that it's hard to lead these somewhat more complex moves in a social setting? or could someone kindly offer some tips on how these steps are to be lead?
