back break and pull the follower to your position as you switch places...in 1st 4 beats. You will have switched positions. Then you will back break with right foot, step intocenter with left anmd move to the next person with the right, at the same time gently placing follower slightly back ready to receieve the next person.
I said this assuming you are a leader? Am I right?

Nope, I'm the follower. Can you say all that again from the follower's perspective? Thanks

Hmmm....Start with facing your partner your left side facing the center/inside of the circle. Back break with right foot, step forward with left foot and turn 180 degrees, landing back with right foot. Now you should still be facing your partner, but now your right side should be facing inside the circle. Then left foot forward as leader breaks back then, right foot, left foot ending up with your front facing the center of the circle. Finally dile que no steps to finish off.

Practiced it (right here in my office) based on what you said SAGITTA and it works. Thank you for breaking it down. Now I'll be ahead of the game at my next class

The same with different words from my notes.
Enchufa / Enchufa Dame / Cumbia / “Plug in”
Back break, then pull the lady to a half passing left turn on 1.
Lift your right arm up as you pass the lady on the right side,
and lock her arm as you pass to place her with her front
toward the centre of the circle. Let her hand go on 8.
Walk to the next lady on 1-2-3.
(On 1-2-3 the lady will lift her left arm and let it fall down to
rest on the new leaders shoulder thus, giving access to her back).
Dile que no / x-body push on the lady’s back on 5.
This is highly leadable, so if the leader knows his stuff,
you won’t have to worry about the steps.
From a follower’s perspective there’s some things worth mention though.
#1
Not all leaders will place you with the front toward the centre of the circle.
They just hurry on to the next lady. If so, you will just place yourself.
#2
Lift your left arm and let it fall down to rest on the new leaders shoulder.
Done with some lady style and a smile, I feel really welcome to my new partner.
The access to your back is important to be able to lead the dile que no.
#3
Wait for the leader to lead the dile que no. Wait wait wait.
Most beginner ladies have a tendency to get impatient and walk the steps as the see fit.
That is not being in the right place but running back, or leave leaders right arm before getting the lead.
Have fun!
