HI all... new guy here :) I've beenin love with jazz music since I learned how to play (I'm a drummer) and picked up a huge interest in big band swing from the first time i heard Sing Sing Sing... then started to develop an interest in the dance style that comes along with it... and now after years of whatching... I finally found a out my girlfriend is interested in it as well... and my best friend and his wife too... so we've all decided to stop thinking about it and start taking lessons :)

We live in Greenwood, Indiana, so if anyone has any ideas of who has the best swing school. We'd really appreciate the info.

Sorry, I don't live in the States so can't really help you much with that, hopefully someone who lives arond the area would be able to help you find a good studio!

I would think that the people there would know what the best swing studio would be. You say you've been watching for years, so I assume that there's a swing venue there. Go there and ask the dancers. Also, I've usually seen a lesson given during the half-hour or so before the dancing begins, so that's another possible source of contacts.
