I just finished watching the first half hour of this instructional video. I am really impressed with it. It is so superior to any other instructional dance video that I've seen.

Both the lead and the follow are dance instructors and they really know how to teach. What I particularly like is how well they explain everything and break it down into small manageable sequential steps with exercises for each segment.

I should mention that the video is geared towards someone who has never danced before and slowly getting them going.

Unfortunately for me, I'm not interested in learning Lindy Hop right now. I'm wondering if anyone that has seen this video knows of a comparable video for West Coast Swing.

Any contact info for the video? Do they have a website?

What basic step are they using? Single, double or tripple timing?

I have no idea. How do I determine that?

    Single timing: rock-step - step - step
    Double timing: rock-step - tap-step - tap-step
    Tripple timing: rock-step - tripple-step - tripple-step

Basically the number of steps done on each slow in quick-quick - slow - slow

    It's single timing.
