I like it better than their waltz
so does anyone know the name of that song?
I found a reference to the music on the 2004 World Superstars video where they danced to the same song:
Tango Oblivion + Concierto Para Quniteto Astor Piazzolla
It was always thought their tango was their best dance. And they were good at all of them. I was quite disappointed when I heard they had split. I started watching them and had visions of Torvill and Dean.
I think it was quickstep that was their best dance. But later they're very much well known for their very slow & beautiful foxtrot.
Yeah, I found that same reference too, but when i looked up "Oblivion" by Astor Piazzolla on youtube
I got this [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhJi6RCYHhE[/yt]
It doesnt really sound similar at all
That's two pieces they're using in their show tango on the 2004 video. The opening is indeed the piece you found on youtube. The posted clip in this thread is from a different year... The staccato piece in that clip is presumably the Concierto Para Quniteto.
ah ic, got it, thx
thought "Concierto Para Quniteto" was the album name at first
