I can't understand the point of this poll. The only floor to dance Swing on is a wooden one.
I have a pair of old walking sneakers with soles worn almost completely smooth, and they are okay on a good, fast floor. If your sneakers have any grip left, attempting to spin in them is a bad idea.
In Cuban style dancing, you very rarely spin. Turns are usually walked, so your footwear and floor surface are a lot less crucial.
and if you look at the poll, everyone will agree. how nice
You are what? All of 21? *smooch*
*smooch* FRom one lady to another!
Actually, I suppose the topic should be moved...it is actually more geared to all dancing.
Is your name Larinda, lol?
I'm 21 too and starting to feel it in my knees if I dance on a bad floor....
how about a good old fashioned barn dirt floor! yee haw!
nice wood sprung floors are great to dance on but unfortunately unless you're a dancer you don't really care so i try and be ready for whatever floor i'll end up dancing on.
different shoes for outdoors or grass or dirt
insoles for hard concrete or non sprung floors
Separate names with a comma.
