Apparently, one of Sara's kids caught Daddy watching porn on Sept. 28. Still, Tony told People magazine yesterday that Sara quitting was a "surprise."
Then again, I can't imagine Sara showing up for dance practice on the 29th and saying, "Tony, you won't believe what happened at our house yesterday."
Also, her jerkball hubby supposedly threatened to take the kids to Oregon, so maybe she had to leave due to some new and immediate danger to the kids.
What I wanna know is how would a 7 y.o. (much less a 2 or 3 year old) know that what Daddy is watching is porn? I just don't get that particular piece of info... Am I just naive to think that a child that age won't know what it is they're seeing when they their dad watching that? How does a 7y.o. "confront" their father about something like that? Sounds fishy to me...
maybe she expected to be kicked off yesterday... when she didn't, she had to put an end to it and bow out in a less than ideal way albeit probably necessary to her.
It wasn't what I myself had in mine but Ok...
It calmed me down.
Well, my nieces know about that stuff (and they are 10 and 6 1/2 now) so they probably know more than what we think.
Well, the kid probably didn't classify it himself (herself) as porn. Probably just told someone...hopefully *mommy* that daddy was watching [fill in lurid details] on tv. I have friends who have had something similar happen...your kids can kind of walk in on you no matter what you may be doing....(better quit here, MQ...LOL).
Yeah I agree with you MQ.
It could have been something as simple as the kid saying "Mommy what does that mean?" and then her going "Where did you hear that?!" Something like that happened when my friend was little and her teacher read them some graphic romance novel.
That could be. I just remember being in my little nieces room watching her (she was I think 3 or 4 at the time) when she said, "Don't tell mommy, but I know what sex is." I'm telling you I had no clue what to say to that. I did tell my sister and my mom, and from then on out my sister was honest with my niece about everything. If she didn't know what a word meant that she heard on the playground etc., my sister will tell her exactly what it means and how bad it is etc. But I liked that kind of response that my sister took because I'm sure she'd rather not have some little 2 year old telling my little niece what sex is lol, or whatever the case might have been lol. (I don't want to know lol.)
It is unfortunate that such an interpretation was chosen, yet I'm glad things are clear at the moment.
Speculation and comments about the show are part of what DF is about and is here for, but speculation about these people's private lives is not. Facts, such as the divorce filing, may be germane to understanding why Sara is leaving, but any speculation beyond that, about personal details, etc., have nothing to do with dancing and have no place on the DF.
Are there any news reports really saying that Sara Evans will be dancing one more time and that the show won't be having a vote this week?
Or is this just someone's theory over what could happen?
I personally think its just rumors over what could happen. I read it elsewhere on another message board, so I wanted to know if they were true or not. I guess we'll find out Tuesday.
According to this article,
Of course, it just says that she will appear, not that she will dance.
So, I'll just stayed tuned to the DF to read who was voted off. I don't watch it anymore . . .
I personally think the show has lost its zip . . . they're reaching . . . it's boring . . . the wrong people keep getting voted on "to stay" (Springer should have been off the first week) . . .
You thought Tucker was better than Jerry?
Um . . . no . . . sorry . . . old age, memory going . . . I forgot about him . . . Tucker, then Jerry . . .
If she hadn't quit, we would have heard that she got the boot!
No that's not old age Vince lol. Tucker was an easy person to forget lol.
I liked Tucker though. I was afraid he'd be like that Kenny guy, but Tucker was hilarious. I laughed so hard at that interview that he gave the judges. It was very well done lol.
