    some time next year...
and I would dance to anything! I usually do dance on 1, LA style, but I tried Cuban and it was fine and Rueda de Casino and I love it and on2 (I can only follow... )
it was just a question for me to know what I have to regret that I didn't know this year when I went

No problem, it is just that there is quite a few places, and some are more specialised in one style, some are only interesting to go to on some nights...

wouldn't want to send you to THE best club for dancing "on 2 ET" if you are only going to be there from sunday to wednsday, knowing that they only put on a salsa night tuesday, friday and saturday, now would I ;)

The good thing is, if you can manage to spend at least one monday evening in Paris, you'll get to see the place I am always at, and the fun part is that you can find very very good cuban lead, mambo on 1 lead, and depending on your luck, a few on 2 lead...
    All in one night ;)
    (And as a bonus : me 8) )

I've got a CD with Japanese lessons on it, but I haven't touched it in a while. Most of my knowledge comes from anime and the anime music... =^_^=;; (Good places to learn though... :D )

Say it's summer, Squirrel! Summer 2005!!!! 8)

I'd love to meet up with whoever I can while we're on the part of the trip in Paris... (<--French trip for schoool! Very excited!!!)

Same here, except you can replace anime with Video Games/manga. (and given that it was long ago, you can also put in "tape" for "CD"...)
A few years back, (say like Super NES and Genesis time) the best RPG were produced in Japan, but the category was not as popular as today. And to play Final Fantasy 6, well you needed to either do it in japanese, or wait a year and a half, praying that they might translate it in english eventualy (forget about french)

As for anime music, well, dramatic masters do help a lot ;)

Well, I for one will probably be there to greet you

(as long as it is not the first week end of jully... Cannes congress, again ;) )

LOL

  So true! Except that none of the video games and manga I have are in the Japanese (couldn't read it even if I wanted to! Kanji are eeeeevil right now! ) *happy sigh* I remember SNES and Genesis (we never got the SNES... ) But I *DO* know FFVII (Final Fantasy Seven)! Greatest game of ALL time!!!! *finished with her "Gamer-Chick" rant*

I was (semi**) familiar with FF 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, 10, X-II (Properly pronounced = Ten-Two), and 11, but I never heard what happened with 3-6... *strokes her chin* Very interesting. Could you tell me about 6?

Anime music composers are the *BEST*!!! Cowboy Bebop's sountrack as well as Noir's are AWESOME!! I'm fond of Cardcaptor Sakura's too... =^__^= But I would be, wouldn't I?

*trying to get back to topic* ....

=^__^= I'd like that very much! The norm is to go in either the 2nd or 3rd week of June; hopefully there's nothing contradicting then, and maybe I'll catch you at the Louvre or the Eiffel Tower!

    SK :kitty:

    **Semi-familiar in that I"ve only barely played 1 and 2 (not finished with 1 and got about 10 minutes of play in on 2 -- it was someone else's set of them on the set they released on Playstation) and I watched my brother beat all of 7, most of 8, my cousins had nine, watched my brother beat most of 10, and what Gamer *DOESN'T* know about other FF releases? =^_~=;;

I have yet to get past the first disc of 7 on my own... Thanks to my brother deleting that one game when I was at Crater... =>_<= *repressed feelings of anger* "Oh, doctor it all started when...!"

*classical "jaw-drop to the floor" with a huge sigh* I wanna dance there... *wistful smile* It sounds absolutely beautiful; a perfect place to dancewith a scene like that -- someplace I would love to dance at! Night+Moon+River+City Lights = I'm so there!!!!!!! :)

:) :) I shall alert the proper authorities right away, Madam. Fear not, this nonsense will be stamped out immediately!

I like the sound of this "Free" of which you speak... Would we get to ride camels? I think that'd be an interesting experience! :D

Yes, a camel ride would/could be interesting - but, I have heard that they smell and their breathe  a bag of mints downed in one go would not even help for a micro second but, I will if you will

New setting to ad to the collection : on the border of the seine, in the middle of Paris :

Actually, I'm packing up right now, leaving work in about 5 minutes, going to change in the car, and hopefully will get there before 8h30 if I don't hit traffic.

:D  :D My Nana rode a camel when she went to Egypt (sent us some really cool camel dolls; I'll have to try and get a picture for the photo album), and she said it wasn't exactly a picnic (she was sore!!! ), but I think it'd be fun to say you've done it!

So, we'll be Camel riding buddies! But remember: leave those cigarettes behind!

    SK :kitty:

PS- L_R! Great new scene! The lights in the background looked really nice, especially reflecting off the Seine! :D Have fun!

Well, the fun part is that boats do pass by all the time, and when it is dark, all the "tour boats" have lights on them so it's really a beautifull sight.

Yesterday, a few boats actually stopped for a while just to watch the dancing [IMG]

(besides, it is a close from dancing by the sea [IMG] as you can get in a city like paris :

it is not too hot as it is in many clubs out there,
you get a nice litle wind,
and if you trip [IMG], you might actually swim for a bit [IMG]
