    International Folk Dancing 101
An Introduction to Dances From Around the World

    Sunday, June 26, 2011
    1:30-4:30 pm
    Sunnyvale Community Center Ballroom
550 E. Remington Avenue, Sunnyvale, California

This will be a 3-hour "playshop" for people with little or no dance experience. There will be lots of quick teaching of a wide variety of dances we know and love.

Sponsored by the Folk Dance Federation. We hope this will be the prototype for a series of dance events for beginning dancers that will take place once per quarter, each time in a different part of our dancing community.

ARRRGH! I forgot to post info for the New Dancers' Festival that happened yesterday in Berkeley.

I will try to find about the next one and post it. If you'd rather not rely on me, you can find the information on http://www.folkdance.com/ when it becomes available (it's not there yet).
