    Hi there,

I'm an IDTA dance teacher looking to do the switch to ISTD. I have no knowledge of the syllabus (although I did take my baby, pre-primary and primary ISTD exams) and was wondering what the minimum requirements are for entry to exams at a professional level? And also how are these exams structured?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Kind regards,
    Miss Laura

    Hi UKDancer,

I'm currently qualified at Associate level in IDTA Freestyle although I teach modern jazz (and enter students under a colleagues name). I'm looking to complete the ISTD DDE in Modern.

Oh not to worry - thanks for replying anyway. Yes I've seen the ISTD documents thanks, just wanted to hear some personal opinions/experiences.

    Regards,
    Laura
