it is shameful...and tacky...and I know it...but I draw the line at girls next door

*Sitting in the bath with the shower going over my head like I'm sat in a lake with waterfall.

1980's TV (anything with a 'super vehicle' turns me on like Airwolf or Streethawk!)
Cakes (cupcakes especially)
Jelly (I love jelly)
Collecting paper umbrellas from tropical drinks (even I'm worried about that one) :?
Love these! :banana::banana::banana:
I love this thread... haha
Cheap thrills/guilty pleasures for me would be:
-CHOCOLATE.... I have an addiction problem
-Good food in general.. I have been known to spend too much. Oops
-Shoes, especially sexy heels and boots
-Watching Nip/Tuck (Depressed that the series ended this year )
-Going to the airport just to go to the airport. I freakin love it and don't know why lol
-When someone trips or falls... I laugh and cry like there is no tomorrow
I may have just admitted too much lol
oh dear...how could I forget? Guilty pleasure - snickerdoodle cookie sandwich filled with buttercream frosting....lots of buttercream frosting.....
Most definitely, excellent ones! :notworth: :cheers:

Between you and Sam, the snick/cream and the choc chip/pb, I am going to do some serious baking this week. (have to do a bunch anyway to take to show in Baltimore next wknd)
note to self: find a good recipe for snickerdoodles
i completely understand. that show is brilliant television.
It is hard to stop watching lol
while we're on that subject, there's always those little debbie swiss creme chocky roll thingies. like crack. we.do.not.buy.
but nothing is better than whoopie pies for that type of fix. dear lord.
great.....now I'm drooling! Love those little choco roll thingies (almost as much as the peanut butter crispy thingies covered with chocolate).....never buy them! *run away...runaway!*
Can't do the whoopie pie thing because marshmallows are not vegetarian.
Seriously? Why not? I thought marsmallows were corn syrup and egg whites, which may not be vegan but are vegetarian... nevermind. BTW, really good whoopie pies are made with whipped cream. I'm just sayin'.
i don't use marshmallow in my whoopie pies. nope. best whoopie pies (ahem... mine) are made with a vanilla buttercream filling using cooked milk & flour as a base, not whipped cream.
Marshmallows also have gelatin.
Never had a homemade whoopie pie......sounds entirely too yummy!
pastry cream! sister!
have you ever had a pumpkin one, Amish stuff, from the Farmer's Market in Allentown <swoon>
oh, that's right... animal bones are often used to make gelatin. which is why a micky d's shake isn't vegetarian, i believe.
i've had a pumpkin whoopie pie made by bona fide amish. but it was a sorry excuse for a WP. rated about a 2 as compared to the 11 my standard-issue WP scores on the 10-max scale.
but i *looooooove* all things pumpkin, and simply must come up with a pumpkin version.
