let's please try...on this general dance thread... to stick to issues of dance...admittedly sometimes one's theology impacts one's views of dance..but this forum isn't intended as a place to debate the merits of anyone's theology and I think it wise that we veer away from that, as the guidelines also encourage

I'm cheating a little here, I read the first & last page, is that o.k.?

For me personally, I know my parents will always have something to say as long as my skirt is above knee level - which unfortunately, there's no way I can dance latin with ankle-length skirt! But that doesn't mean I can't look decent in a semi-short skirt. I think a lot has to do with how the dancer presents herself rather than just the dress/skirt.

I don't get it- everything "theological" was quite civil.

everything was civil, that is why no one was put on notice, however, like all threads this one was moving toward a highjack, and one that deals with a subject that has been known to devolve, not everything done by a moderator is about someone having done something wrong, it is about the wealth of things that we contend with(not all of which are visible at all times) and how we do so in order to also prevent issues ...I am reluctant to explain this further because its not really something that is open for debate...we make the calls that we make...its okay that they aren't always appreciated...we still have to make them

and some can be quite sheer and lovely..possible solution there for OP...long but sheer...still doesn't look good unless you are quite thin IMO, but OP is from what I can see

redhead, 10-4 is the term used (originally) in CB communications that affirms "message received."

Just have to watch out for the inevitable back-slash.

Ever have to tell somebody over the phone what the back-slash is? Especially somebody computer-illiterate? Like most all our clients at one place I worked. Problem is, there's no fixed place that it appears on keyboards, so I could only go by its appearance.

"It's the liberal one; it leans to the left." Flew right over their heads every time.

So I had to settle for:
"In the lower right, do you see the one beneath the question mark?"
    "Yeah, I see it!"
"Well, that's not it. It's the other one."

    Classic:
"Now go to the A: drive. Type 'a', then the colon, then press 'Enter'."
    "'Bad command or filename'."
"Did that colon have a tail on it?"
    "Yes."
That's the semicolon. Use the shift key this time."

In those days, I could run them through an EDLIN edit session with my eyes closed.

By the, way this type of dress IMO is far better than a mini skirt.
