I'll be doing a showdance in December. The current plan is an east coast swing done to "You're Welcome" from the movie Moana. Because of this, the outfits will be Polynesian islander themed which means I'll probably need to be barefoot.

Or at least look like I'm barefoot. I honestly can't see me doing a swing barefoot, so I'm looking for recommendations for shoes that you can barely tell they are there.

My girlfriend was on Amazon last night looking for shoes and she saw that tan-colored jazz shoes might fit the bill. So I might give those a try.

That is what I was thinking. Although if it were me I never found jazz shoes give enough cushion for any amount of pounding the pavement. Perhaps for one show routine it would not be too bad.

Capezio sells something called "footundeez" which may be what you're looking for. If the dance floor is anything but wood, you may have problems though.

You can get them on Amazon too.
