I think looking at both Maurizio and Melinda with their new partners, I feel quite happy to see how well matched their new partnerships are. Melinda looks so much better with Andrej showcasing her, and Maurizio looks great with a partner who's a bit softer, great contrast!

Agree!! Plus Andra is smaller than Melinda and Mauritzio looks better with her. I'm not Vescovo's fan but they look good.

Maurizio Vescovo has made a welcome return to the competition floor winning wth his new partner the IDC Italian National Professional Latin Championship.

Pro Latin gets ever more exciting.

Agreed. I like this girl more than I liked Melinda... at least in partnership with Maurizio (who was never really my favorite...).

What do you think? This looks messy. To me a little bit "to much".

New shows from Maurizio and Andra:

(I love their Paso! They danced this choreography at Kremlin Cup )

A very different take on the Paso. Makes me sad I didn't make it to that night of the Eastern this year - right in my backyard! Maurizio is such a showman!

Their cha cha cha at the same GOC was just a bunch of tricks. The samba here is hardly recognisable as samba. No hip action, no bounce/knee action. Save for the drop voltas and the shadow reverse rolls, that wasn't a samba.

I'm sorry for being so caustic, but I feel very strongly about that dance.
