    Hi,
My girlfriend and I are new to the whole country scene. We did a little ballroom years ago, but not much. Anyway, we've been approached by this guy who wants us to be his students in UCWDC. Now, I don't know anything about anybody in this country crowd, but I found this site and thought maybe some of you could help me. I searched the internet and couldn't find a whole lot on him as an instructor. Has anybody ever done lessons with Brian Wong? Heard of him? Competed with him? Feel free to PM me. I just want to make sure we are with someone qualified. Thanks in advance!!

I haven't heard of him, but that doesn't mean a thing!

The UCWDC probably does know about him . . . why don't you get on line with them, and go to the forum and ask.

Here is what I did fine:

http://www.showcaseofstars.com/competition.html about half way down under the Pro column

He sounds legit to me, and he appears to have great credentials . . . I'd give him a shot . . . what have you got to lose???

Your ballroom experience will be a plus for you . . .
