First, I am starting a country line dance class at my gym. Since my gym is located in a mega-church, I have to find songs that are clean!

There is a line dance that I love and it is easy to teach, but the song I learned it to is to Flo Rida Hot Damn Song. I don't think the church would approve of that song haha! :-D

What would be a country equivalent with the same beat/count as that song??

Second - what would be a good country song for the Cowboy Charleston - I've been YouTubing but all it is is the big band/folk music. Something that has a moderate tempo as I'd be teaching beginners!

    Thank you!

    Cowboy Charleston:

I've never done the dance, but here are some music suggestions from (you should check it out!)

(This Thing Called) Wantin' And Havin' It All by Sawyer Brown (221 bpm)

Sold by John Michael Montgomery (120 bpm) (This one I know!)

Jambalaya (On The Bayou) by Eddy Raven & Jo-Elnnier (125 bpm)

Rompin' Stompin' by Scooter Lee (192 bpm)
What line dance do you know that you do to Flo Rida Hot Damn ?
It has a very common (now a days country music) "q q slow" beat .

Hey, thanks for the question !

Lots of songs for cowboy charleston, any decent 2 step will do the job.

    We often used

Should've asked her faster - Ty England
You, the moon and the Mills and boon - Dave Sheriff
Just to see you smile - Tim Mcgraw
