Is anyone planning on going? We were planning on it but I haven't seen it advertised anywhere and registration is VERY light. I know it's still early, but I'm curious if this is on anyone's radar?

We should be there. Wait, registration light? just wondering why. Should be more NY couples going, still too early.

This is good news. It is so much better when there are multiple rounds.

Registration for this comp is still looking pretty light, and it closes tomorrow. I wonder why?

I think these comps could benefit a lot from chartered bus service to/from midtown, one run in time for syllabus and a second for the evening session, with the option to pre-order tickets at the time of registration.

(Would personally like to go, but the issue there is more one of readiness than transit)

Doesn't look like readiness is much of an issue, given the light reg.

maybe the location is not convenient? Is there a bus going there too? or only by car?

    actually sounds like good idea!!!

Can't say I completely agree with the logic - to some extent, light registration means you are dancing against yourselves and your own expectations as it becomes more of an opportunity to practice going through the motions of competition than a detailed comparison against others.

very well said! Light registration is more like a studio run-thru, another practice session.

Do you put on makeup and hair, and put on costumes for your run-throughs?

There is actually a bus that goes from Port Authority and stops right in front of the studio....#165. It actually has a fairly good schedule of times.

do you have a site for this bus #165? is it run by NJ Transit?
