I second the "sticky floors" comment....especially when you are wearing your dance shoes.
Stop picking on the guys!! =)
Here's some for you ladies:
1. Dancing with a girl that's as exciting as watching paint dry...(Hey if
you're going to dance, at least PRETEND to enjoy it...=)
2. Dancing with a woman that does not want to be led.
3. Dancing with a woman who feels that if there's a connection, you're
asking for her hand in marriage (Ok ladies, just cause your hit on
every once in a while, does not mean that every guy wants to marry
You are a scream!
Pulled doesn't feel so good. Pushed doesn't either. Especially with spins. Here's a newsflash, guys. Ladies actually spin themselves.
But salsarhythms is right, too. Ladies shouldn't go around complaining about the whole "meat market" thing, then assume that, just because they got a decent dance with a guy, there's romance happening. You can't have it both ways.
Why thank you pygmalion!! =)
Oh, great! Now what am I going to do with that engagement ring six-pack I got for the next latin night?
 That was hilarious!
I must confess, I was guilty of this when I first started out since I really did not know any better nor did I understand the art of surrendoring and just follow the lead.....
I often look back and thank my fortunes for the guys putting up with it and still try to make the best of it
And Danceratheart...that's a very common thing, and
there's nothing wrong with it when you're learning, it's bad
though when the woman is completely against it...
sometimes, mostly because I am an instructor and do teach the men their part, I lead myself and find myself "anticipating" what is going to happen next. BIG NO NO!! I'm getting better at it though. It's especially hard to keep connection and pressure while trying to remain loose enough to be lead. :?
