Dancers Anonymous > Running club anyone?

    How's the running coming?

    I've been back to walking since mid February, and now I'm back to running, too. :banana:

    Just 3 or 4 days a week, but I'm hoping to get this going 5 or 6 days a week soon.

    went out 4 times last week, striving for same this week.

    have been focusing on applying all the same structural components that have made such a difference for me with general posture & dancing, and i'm not in the least sore, not anywhere.

    feeling my bones absorb the weight of my body, not my muscles... releasing all "holding" feelings in my torso & hips, just letting everything go loose and relaxed... feeling my legs swing effortless through my hips, just like in waltz etc... lifting my butt & shortening back muscles to draw torso up & keep front relaxed. using good form to find my "idle" point, where i can keep going effortlessly. it's just like in dance... cool.

    Have been doing about 3 miles/5k twice a week. About 8 minute miles usually.

    i dare not time my miles... between the hills here & my overall pokiness, it's likely nothing to shout from the rooftop. :)

    ran yesterday morning, going out again shortly...
