    I could see getting that, especially for an elderly doggie.
    My parents have a very high bed frame and our cats, when they got older, had trouble getting up there sometimes...which might have been the idea actually...:rolleyes:

    Another solution would be to have a regular footstool close by the bed, so kitty or puppy will have no trouble hopping up.

    I thought the goal was to keep doggies and kitties out of the bed. :rolleyes:

    I tried to keep my cat out of the bed, once. I couldn't stand listening to her yammer, so that was the end of that.

    thank goodness our cat prefers to sleep with our dtr...b/c I am allergic to cats(except AK)

    Didn't know you even had a cat! With allergies, how can you even live in the same house with one?

    It's possible; I'm mildly allergic to my cat, Purr. I have 2 HEPA air filters in the house, 1 in my room and 1 in the sunroom, where she likes to hang out during the day. They help quite a bit. I launder her cat beds regularily, as well as my bedsheets. Vacuuming regularily helps a lot too, and my vacuum cleaner has a HEPA air filter on it.
