I almost always end up silently wondering why these flirty/affair/romance/lusty themed threads are almost always commandeered by the most attached and unavailable of DFers

b/c they let their hormones take over that's why they're attached  !

Now, now, we have choices. ;)

Although, what types of "unpredictable" things are we talking about here?

well, I think there are a fair mix of available and unavailable types on here...I think it is rather more a reflection of people's interest in relationships in general, and their degree of sensuality as well....I have always told my husband that with me its like a metal detector that is turned up too high...it just commands my interest...and that didn't just happen once I was an old married lady....for better or worse...it just intrigues me

also, I can only speak for myself...but it doesn't seem like many of the others besides me are attached...at least not in a permanent irrevocable way...and are supposed to have all of our appetites completely sated just b/c we are attached?
