Already do and plan to do a whole lot more this coming year!
PS: Good luck to Youngsta with his performances.
The idea terrifies me. Which means that, if the opportunity arises, I should do it
Sadly, not nearly good enough yet :?
sure.. if u got it.. by all means .. FLAUNT IT!
i dont really want that much attention
i just do salsa for the fun of it
love performing. love rehearsing. love getting the group-love with an assortment of people all working towards a goal together.
I get too anxious in the performing part, don't like any attention, but love anything around it.
i'm with you. i keep hoping that part will get better. but since all the 'trappings' are so attractive, i'm not gonna give up.
Hope the anxiety weakens with time.
I have had the opportunity to perform once and I would like to perform more in the future for the main reason that training for the performance really forced me to pay attention to my technique and styling.
Yup, training for performances makes you goood. 8)
Ditto with what Clave said. And I love it!
Salsa? No. Ballroom? Yes.
I love it. In fact, I am doing a chacha routine in our studio showcase this saturday!
Already do. Love it, plan on doing a bunch more (about to start rehearsals for a couple of routines, including one which will probably get taken to the LA & UK congresses next year).
I hate dancing. Unless it's salsa. My friends have never seen me dance, but they have seen me dancing salsa at a party in front of everyone. I don't have the same hang ups with salsa as I do anything else.
Would I perform? Hell yes - if I was good enough to keep an audience entranced and inspired for that amount of time. I'll keep dreaming..
So you going to perform?
i was just thinking about posting a related thread, i dont want to threadjack so if u think it should be a seperate thread ill make a new one...
i used to perform with a group, but we broke up and its been so long since i performed that i was thinking of choreographing something on my own and recruiting ppl that i think will be able to do it....what do you think?
any tips on where to start?
