    HAHA I LOVE THIS IDEA!
    Here goes
    Dear Santa,
I have been a moderately good girl this year. I eat my vegetables, whole grains, fruits, drink a lot of water and really care about my health. I have always gone to class and all put in my all into them. There were times when I was so stressed that I procrastinated, but Santa I assure you, it will be better next semester.
Santa, I was given the opportunity to shine with Dancesport and I really enjoy it! The only thing I really want is for all of this stress to go away! I'm tired, and my personality is changing because I don't have any energy. So, please please please give me the energy I need to perform at the optimal level with this upcoming competition. All I want for Christmas is relaxation.
    With love,
    LACHopeful
P.S An AB dance partner would be nice too : )

Hey we were on topic lol. See if you look at it this way, I'll put in the request that if manufacturers made our Superheros more fun to where they did things like dancing when we were growing up, then they would have been more fun to play with lol! ;)

    Dear Santa,

I’m not asking for anything this year. I’m gainfully employed, live in a nice condo, drive a new car, and have a wonderful hobby, dancing, that looks glamorous and exciting to most folks. If there were anything material, within reason, I wanted this year, I’ve already bought it. Things that I’m looking for, inner peace, friendship, and love, money can’t buy.

You’re more than welcome to stop by my condo this year while you’re making your rounds and say hello. There won’t be any cookies in the house, I’m afraid, for you. I went on a diet this year and lost 16 pounds, so I don’t buy sweets anymore. But there might be milk in the refrigerator, that is, if it hasn’t soured again. Better yet, call ahead and I’ll have a cappuccino from Starbucks waiting for you.

My tabby cat, also named Purr, would like to thank you in advance for the new cat bed she has her heart set on. I’m planning on buying it for her, but I’ll tell her it’s from you. :)

    Best Wishes,

    Purr

    :uplaugh: That's hilarious! :uplaugh:

At the risk of not being creative, I'll just sing Santa his favorite song which ironically pretty much covers my wish list. :D

    *clears throat*

    SANTA BABY
    (J. Javits and P. Springer)

Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree, for me
I've been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, an out-of-space convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you dear
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Think of all the fun I've missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed
Next year I could be oh so good
If you'd check off my Christmas list
    Boo doo bee doo

Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that's
    Not a lot
I've been an angel all year
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need, the deed
    To a platinum mine
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, I'm filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks
Sign your 'X' on the line
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me
    Boo doo bee doo

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring
    I don't mean a phone
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

    Hurry down the chimney tonight
    Hurry down the chimney tonight

    ;)

what a most gracious invite! put a very big smile on my face -- thanks for that, purr.:D

i love to hear when people experience real fulness of peace & gratitude, no matter what the season. what a wonderful feeling that is.

sometimes the holidays are more challenging, and then grace gets a chance to show its face. i think for my own family we're more in that zone this year. everything has its season...

    :)

I love it too, Samina. :D It's just the cutest song, I think. Also, I''ve gotten inspired since the last post so here it goes:

    SANTA BABY
    (J. Javits and P. Springer)
    **Additional lyrics by Peach**

Santa baby, slip some Salsa under the tree, a CD
I've been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, a closet of my favorite dance shoes, some blue
    And other colors you’ll find
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Think of all the dips I've missed
And all the dance injuries I haven't risked
Next year I could be oh so good
If you'd check off my Christmas list
    Boo doo bee doo

Santa honey, A permanent spot on the dance floor, no more
I've been an angel all year
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need, a lead
    With a smooth CBL
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, An On2 instructor is what I request, the best
    Preferably Eddie Torres
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Come and trim my Christmas tree
    With decorations of Salsa CDs
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me
    Boo doo bee doo

Santa baby, another thing before you go, a studio
    One with great wooden floors
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

    Hurry down the chimney tonight
    Hurry down the chimney tonight

    I'm such a goofball today! :p

I was listening to Eartha Kitts version earlier. :) I guess they all have that voice that fits the song.
