    The tango connection

He is a proper guy! Danced all night only with him--loved it, AND my conscience is clear, as should be his. So relieved! and I am keeping my fingers crossed that things remain as they are. :):):)

    The tango connection

I have a feeling that age does not matter, but then I would like to hear from those who know how to hug how they do it. I wish someone could do the subtitles for this clip:

    The tango connection

OMG! That's what I have been talking about re this guy! It was awesome. I had room (not as in space on the floor only) and time in the rhythm of the music to do my steps, no rushing, but freedom of movement. Incredible!

re not letting go between the embrace: It depends on the whole package! Not letting the partner between the songs can be really creepy, but it really depends on so many other factors. Btw, the letting-a-hand-drift-too-far-south, in particular past the waist, has that happened to anyone?

 I actually think that I will enjoy milongas in BA very much. Remember that I actually like hugs and kisses and especially hugs. If the guy is a creep, the embrace if off, the caressing won't do much for me, and understandably, I won't like it. It really depends also on the culture...

    The tango connection

Just a quick reply, jantango. No, it is not just an exercise. It's an important form of physical expression. Dancing AT is not the same as working out, zoomba, or swimming, or skiing, or what have you. And it's not about being seen at all. And what are the chances of being invited by the one...

    The tango connection

Ugh! Guys thinking that a woman can be something on the side are beyond repulsive to me... I find even the innocent flirtation problematic. If his SO minds these kinds of things, he should not do them. What a messy world... Ah, and is that true? Back caressing in the tango world is the...

    Your Pet Peeves

I am very much aware that perodontal disease could be the problem for such leaders, and I know that it is really a burden to have this condition especially once one is aware of how it affects others and one's social life. But these people do not seem to realize the consequences, and it is a pity...

    The tango connection

Well, when I consider the big picture, this incident does not really bother me that much. I can take a pang here and there. I am pretty used to them. Plus, as you say, there is no point to take it personally. I am curious about women inviting men to dance because someone also listed this as...

What are the 5 top reasons that make a man ask a woman to dance? Beauty comes first?

Wow, if I knew this before I started taking AT classes, I might not have joined this clique. It's so political. I shudder.
