You Know you are Addicted to Dancing when...

When you skip three days of college, right before dead week, to go to Disneyworld to be part of a Christmas Special, even through there is no guarantee you will be on t.v. for it.... (But it was so much fun!!!!) Sakura Kitty =^__^=

You Know you are Addicted to Dancing when...

When we compete at the Collegiate Nationals (That's what OSB (Ohio Star Ball) ), naturally, whatever team is taking the most top prizes in a style of dance, you know they have the best team for it. Obviously there's some leeway, I'm sure; as there are always factors like who all comes to...

You Know you are Addicted to Dancing when...

One better... As a tack on to my last post -- beyond skipping the senior prom.... **I chose my college based on the ballroom dance team.** So that I wouldn't have to leave the studio I started dancing at. Of course, Purdue having the top collegiate Latin team in the US helped.... :P...

You Know you are Addicted to Dancing when...

I skipped my senior prom to go to a dance party at my studio. :P I understand! I told everyone, "Why should I spend un-Godly amounts of money on a dress I'll only wear once, to spend time with a ton of people who I have no connection to, listening to music I don't like, and not dancing --...

    2007 Collegiate Nationals

I competed with Purdue University, Bronze Latin -- and I'll second what others have already said -- kathyt cupcake already having named my two biggest peeves/things the Purdue team noticed: couples dancing out of syllabus, and "dancing down." It upsets me to see Newcomer and Bronze level...

Myth#5: The myth of two left feet.

Roll D-20 for coordination check.... Had to vote "confirmed," because my Papa always tells me he has the syndrome! I think anyone can try, and can be taught -- it's just that they might not get perfect 10s for execution... But for all us girls out there, with Papas who say they can't dance...

    So, Whose Your Fav..

Makin' Music The more things change, the more they stay the same!! *grins* Glad to see you're still lovin' the lime-green socks Sabor! As for salsa music that gets me going: Sonora Carruseles' "Micaela" is one of my personal favourites (although it does swing more towards a mambo feel...

    Substitute Teachers

Wow! I just saw the last post I made on this, and it looks like having danced for a little over a year now has made some big differences in my opinion! :D While I still haven't had the experience of getting a substitute teacher, I happen to agree with what Sunderi said: hearing...
