Man, QQS timing works for basic routines and beginners... Advanced dancers have passed through that long ago and it's best to match the QQQQQ... timing with many QaQ syncopations or QS pauses.

    Argentine Tango competitions

Disappointed. The man lacks of body control and speed. I can do better in social milongas. Choreographies should be much better at that level.

Sorry to say that, but Salon style is worthless.

    Tango Vals (AT vs BR)

Yeah I do like your tango rock'n'roll ;) It's even better to turn off the sound and replace it with Gardel or D'Arienzo because the music and the dance... it just doesn't work.

    What is this dance?

Not really. East Coast Swing is close to Jive and is danced in two perpendicular lines. Rock'n'Roll, as West Coast Swing and NY salsa, is danced in one line only.

    Tango Vals (AT vs BR)

Just a warning in case you may have planned showdancing...

Difficulty of Tango relative to other styles

Yeah very good point. Except for the cat-like part.

    What is this dance?

Nah, this is just rock'n'roll, why bother with other dances it may come from? We are used to see it everytime and everywhere. Exhibition dance? That makes us so damned good. Most people here are very capable of dancing like that socially (with anyone, anywhere and limited space).

Difficulty of Tango relative to other styles

Yeah I confirm. Argentine Tango is quite easy... after you've reached some level. I mean, if you have 2 years of AT and 2 years of BR, it will be easier to improve your AT technique than your BR's. At the beginning, AT is much harder.
