    non-ballroom tailsuit for dancing

Anyone with tailoring experience know if it's possible to adjust the top-line of a non-ballroom tailsuit and use it for ballroom dancing without the shoulder areas sticking upwards?

tipsy vs tipple chasse in quick step

Tipple Chasse is QQS Tipsy is Q&Q Basically the Tipsy is twice as fast as the Tipple. Tipsy is a Gold figure, whereas Tipple Chasse is Bronze. Definitely become proficient with the Tipple first. :)

    Tango Doble?

LOL to the video. :D To the OP's question, I personally love combining the flavors of Tango and Paso Doble! This could be the crossover of the future in choreography!

    are double-speed figures syllabus-legal?

LT, just sent PM to you. I prefer the question be posed in general, without specifics of dance or figure. I'm thinking in the context of Standard though.

Is Pro Am becoming a sport of only the wealthy?

I had no idea my post would be considered offensive, as none was intended. In my dance career, I have done (and enjoyed) both pro-am and am-am. As I wrote, this entire sport in general tends to be expensive. I am not trying to create division in any way.

Is Pro Am becoming a sport of only the wealthy?

From what I see, pro-am is mostly for the wealthy. It is also for those that prefer (or can reasonably find) a pro partner versus amateur. This entire sport is for the wealthy for the most part, or for those who are willing to make sacrifices as described in the previous postings about eating...

    are double-speed figures syllabus-legal?

My DP and I will dance in a closed Standard syllabus competition, but wish to use a syllabus figure in double-time. Is this legal?
